•Greenacres. Morfa Lane. Ground and first floor extension to existing detached garage. Rejected. The Vale considered that the resulting building would be disproportionate in scale to the existing dwelling resulting in an unacceptable impact on the countryside

•Teleview Kennels St Lythans. Conversion of single storey admin and accommodation building into a two-storey dwelling and demolition of existing kennel block. Rejected. Among the reasons given was that ‘by virtue of its isolated position was outside of any defined settlement, the site is considered to be in an unsustainable and unsuitable location where the new converted dwelling would be remote from day to day amenities/services.’

•7 Orchard Close. Roof conversion to form additional bedrooms. Approved
