WENVOE OPEN GARDENS

 

The Wenvoe Open Gardens on 17 June was a great
success. Twelve lovely people opened their gardens
for visitors to enjoy and the weather, except for one
brief shower of rain, was warm and sunny. It was a
friendly, sociable event with lots of chat and making
of new friends. Refreshments were available, and
very welcome, in the church grounds and the church
was open to visitors. Heartfelt thanks go to
everyone who supported the event by opening their
gardens, to those who bought tickets, donated money
and/or cake and to the volunteers who manned the
refreshments in the
church. The total
raised for St
Mary’s church
Building Fund was
£1,000, a
wonderful amount
and one to be
proud of. Thank
you all again
