style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>WHEN JUST THE TIDE WENT OUT <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Last night as I lay sleeping, when dreams came fast to me<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I dreamt I saw JERUSALEM beside a tideless sea<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And one dream I\u2019ll remember as the stars began to fall<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Was Banksy painting Alun Wyn on my neighbour\u2019s garage wall<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And dreams like that sustain me \u2018til these darkest times have passed<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And chase away the shadows no caring night should cast<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But times like this can shine a light as hardship often can<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To see the best in people and the good there is in man<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I remember Swansea with nobody about<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The shops were closed like Sunday and just the tide went out<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I remember Mumbles with the harbour in its keep<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And the fishing boats at anchor that trawl the waters deep<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I heard the seabirds calling as the gulls all wheeled about<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But all the town was sleeping now and just the tide went out<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And when these days are over and memories remain<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When children painted Rainbows and the sun shone through the rain<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And the doctors and the nurses who stretchered all the pain<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I hope the carers never see a time like this again<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I prayed last week for Boris, who knocked on Heaven\u2019s door<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I thought of voting Tory, which I\u2019ve never done before<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And though the sun is shining I\u2019ve no immediate plans<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So I\u2019ll write a book on \u2018Staying In\u2019 and \u2018Ways To Wash Your Hands\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And now more days of lockdown, three weeks of staying in<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I\u2019m running out of vodka and I\u2019ve started on the gin<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And my neighbours are complaining, I\u2019ve heard them scream and shout<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">With the sound the bins are making, when I take the empties out<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And when all this is over, and our fragile world survives<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I hope that God is caring now for the ones who gave their lives<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I pray we\u2019ll find an answer, for my faith is cast in doubt<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And God draws back the heavens and all the stars come out<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I\u2019ll remember mornings with nobody about<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When the shops were closed like Sunday, and just the tide went
