CARERS WALK<\/p>\n
Valeways are offering a new lead walk from April.
\nThe walk is offered to carers of all ages and their
\nfriends and families.
\nCarers Trust Wales have calculated that there are at
\nleast 370,000 carers in Wales, which is more than
\nthe population of Cardiff. The Carers Trust Wales
\nbelieves that 3 in 5 of us will become a carer at
\nsome point in our lives.
\nThe Carers walk will be a gentle stroll which will
\noffer Carers a chance to exercise, meet people and
\nenjoy fresh air. Hopefully the walks will support
\ncarers to live happy and fulfilling lives for themselves,
\nand give them renewed energy for their role
\nas a carer.
\nIf you are interested in joining this group, the walk
\nwill take place on the last Thursday of every month
\nat 10:30am. We will meet outside Barry Island train
\nstation and the walk will last between 45 to 60
