He was 23 years old when he became a POW in North Africa in 1942, and spent more than 2 years in the concentration camp in Auschwitz and survived the death march. Ron has written a book called the &#8220;The Auschwitz Goalkeeper&#8221;, where as a POW he played in goal for Wales in a football match at the Nazi death camp.
