These are public records available to be viewed with a request to the clerk.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px\">Following discussions with the Vale it has become apparent that, due to other commitments work, preparing the necessary preliminary documents for the new library building can not commence until mid December, with construction anticipated to start in June and completion by December 2019.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px\">The Council would like to know the views, especially of allotment holders, on whether the present allotment rules should be amended to permit the erection of greenhouses on holdings.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px\">Council members received a conducted tour of the Five Mile Lane development. The work is expected to be complete by October 2019. Extensive archaeological work took place before the development started; among the finds were over 450 Neolithic skeletons, a sword and other ancient settlement indications. It is hoped that the finds will form part of a future exhibition. The road development site office is open to visitors on the first Wednesday of each month (except January when it is the second Wednesday) between 2.00pm and 4.00pm to view plans, pictures etc and ask questions.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px\">The school has appointed a new deputy headmaster who will take up his post after Christmas.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px\">The Mayor&#39;s Foundation Grant Fund. The aim of the fund is to offer grants to Community Groups, the Voluntary Sector and not for profit organisations towards the cost of initiatives within the Vale of Glamorgan that help to support the Council&rsquo;s vision of &#39;Strong Communities with a Bright Future&#39;. Funding between &pound;100 and &pound;250 to enhance the work of voluntary and charitable organisations within the Vale of Glamorgan is available. Contact the Council Clerk for further details.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px\">The Council has set the legal process in motion for obtaining a new member to the Council.
