This month we all read a book of our own choice.<\/span><\/p>\n Coming \u2018Highly Recommended\u2019 were a variety of novels:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018The Dry\u2019 by Jane Harper.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018And the Mountains Echoed\u2019 by Khaled Husseini.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018Nutshell\u2019 by Ian Mcewan<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018Such a Long Journey\u2019 by Rohinton Mistry<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018The Devil in the Marshalsea\u2019 by Antonia Hodgson<\/span><\/p>\n Also, \u2018Eggs and Anarchy\u2019 by William Sitwell, a bio-graphical story of Winston Churchill\u2019s cabinet in World War Two, was recommended, as was Barack Obama\u2019s autobiography.<\/span><\/p>\n Finally Penelope Lively\u2019s non fiction \u2018In the Garden\u2019 comes recommended for those gardeners who also love literature.<\/span><\/p>\n Virginia Wolf next month.
