\n\tWe were delighted to have Wenvoe school choir come to entertain us on March 29th.The children from classes 8-10 sang beautifully and we had a very enjoyable afternoon. The children were then each given an Easter egg.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n\tRosemary Chaloner gave us an interesting talk on April 5th on WW.I. nursing .It was not considered right for women to be near the front line, but as the war continued they became needed to deal with the terrible injuries sustained .<\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n\tOn April 12th ,members brought along an array of food for our Easter party,and after tucking in ,we drew the extra large raffle ,thanks to Shirley.
