\n\tWenvoe library is a ‘Community library’ and is just behind the community centre, it can also be accessed from Wenvoe Close, off Walston Road.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt allows you to:<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Borrow DVDs;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Comic books;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 A good selection of teenage books;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 A wide range of crime fiction – we have more James Patterson books in Wenvoe than anywhere else in the Vale;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Some interesting novels e.g. we’ve had a copy of M. L. Stedman’s ‘the Light between Oceans’ since July 2013;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Non-fiction and autobiographies;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Children’s books (in English and Welsh) fiction and non-fiction;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Look at a small reference section (including bound copies of What’s On for each year)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom a home computer you can:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Renew any books you’ve borrowed online;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Browse the Vale catalogue in the comfort of your own home;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\uf0a8 Reserve books you would like to borrow and they will be delivered to Wenvoe library for you to collect – we will ring you when they arrive.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tI<\/span><\/span>f you don’t have a home computer you can use a library computer to do all of the above.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tW<\/span><\/span>hen, as happens, broadband is down, you could use a library computer to read your mail or bring your own computer in to take advantage of free Wifi.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tB<\/span><\/span>uy books – we have some good quality donated books for sale and some old library stock is also available for sale.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tG<\/span><\/span>reen garden waste bags and food bags;<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tC<\/span><\/span>opies of What’s On.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA<\/span><\/span>s a community library we have to find the funds to run the library (the Vale of Glamorgan supplies books, DVDs etc) and all money raised from sales helps.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA<\/span><\/span>ll the staff are volunteers who are keen to keep the library open for the people of Wenvoe.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
