WENVOE COMMUNITY COUNCIL ENGAGEMENT DAY <\/span>
\nAND WENVOE COMMUNITY LIBRARY\/HUB 10th ANNIVERSARY<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Wenvoe Community Council and Wenvoe Community Library\/Hub are joining forces for a very special community celebration on Saturday 3 October, from 11.00am to 4.00pm, <\/strong>at Wenvoe Community Centre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This promises to be a wonderful family day out, with something for visitors of all ages. There will be stalls to browse, activities and displays to enjoy, and a barbecue serving food throughout the day. It will be an excellent opportunity to meet local organisations, discover what is happening in and around Wenvoe, and celebrate everything that makes our village such a lively and welcoming community.<\/p>\n

We are delighted that the day will also include a special guest performance by Craig Yates of Only Men Aloud and Johnny Tudor who both live here in Wenvoe.<\/p>\n

The event marks an important milestone for Wenvoe Community Library\/Hub, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Over the past decade, the Hub has grown into far more than a place to borrow books. Run and managed by volunteers, it now provides a welcoming meeting place and a wide programme of\u00a0talks, groups, children\u2019s activities, outings and community events. The anniversary will be a chance to celebrate its achievements and thank everyone who has supported it along the way.<\/p>\n

Tables will be available inside the Community Centre for village groups wishing to promote their activities, recruit new members or display their work. Local businesses are also warmly invited to take part and showcase the products or services they offer. Any group or business interested in reserving a table should contact Councillor Janet Williams at j.williams@wenvoecouncil.org.<\/p>\n

Please note that the Community Centre car park will be closed for the event, as it will be used to accommodate the marquee. Visitors are encouraged to walk to the celebration wherever possible and to park considerately elsewhere in the village.<\/p>\n

Make a note of the date and come along to meet friends and neighbours, support local groups and businesses, and help us celebrate ten successful years of Wenvoe Community Library Hub.<\/p>\n
