\nedition – Talkin’ about 1960s Vinyl Records. I’ve
\nnever been knowledgeable about music myself but
\ndo recall spending my allowance or early earnings
\non singles and even an LP or two. The line that
\nbrought back memories for me was this: “You didn’t
\nlike every track, but you knew sooner or later
\nsomething would come up you liked.”
\nIn this age of digital playlists and “skip”
\ncapabilities (much easier than lifting the needle and
\nlooking for the next groove), I sometimes forget the
\nvalue of listening to something that is not to my taste
\nand practising the patience, and hope, for something
\nI will like. Thank you, Nigel, for the memories and
\nthe reminder.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
