font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Pacific Pie<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"5\" \/>\n<p>A childhood favourite, loved by kids and almost impossible not to have all the ingredients making it a good standby supper\u2026\u2026..<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients for 4<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">3 large floury potatoes<br \/>\n3 tbsp milk<br \/>\n1 tbsp butter<br \/>\n450g tinned tuna (keep the oil)<br \/>\n2 medium onions<br \/>\n400g tin chopped tomatoes<br \/>\n1tsp sugar<br \/>\n1tsp red or white wine vinegar<br \/>\n300g frozen peas (thawed)<br \/>\n1 pkt ready salted crips, smashed up<br \/>\nSalt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Method: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boil the potatoes until tender, then drain.<\/li>\n<li>Mash with milk and butter.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 200c or mark 6.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil from tuna and fry with onions until tender, don\u2019t let them brown.<\/li>\n<li>Add tomatoes, sugar and vinegar and season to make the tuna sauce.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer tuna sauce to bottom of baking tray and cover with mashed potato like a shepherds pie.<\/li>\n<li>Cook for 30 mins and sprinkle crisps on top just before serving.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with mayo or tomato ketchup!!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"5\" \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Nutty Carrot Cake Traybake <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Using a combination of granulated sweetener and muscovado sugar helps to reduce the sugar in this yummy tray bake!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">150g plain flour<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">3tsp baking powder<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">40g light brown muscovado sugar<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">10 tsp table top sweetener<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">60g walnuts, chopped roughly<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">120g carrots, grated<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">2 medium eggs,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">50g low fat spread, melted<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">2 tsp ground cinammon<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">30g sultanas<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Method: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 180 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Line a tin approx 20cm by 20cm with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Sift together dry ingredients into a bowl, flour, baking powder, sugar, sweetener and cinnamon.<\/li>\n<li>In another bowl beat 2 eggs and add the melted low fat spread.<\/li>\n<li>Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture, then add the carrots, walnuts and sultanas, fold and don\u2019t over work mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Pour into lined tin and bake for 30-35 mins, using skewer to check centre which should come out clean when cooked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"5\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pacific Pie A childhood favourite, loved by kids and almost impossible not to have all the ingredients making it a good standby supper\u2026\u2026..
