<\/p>\n
The Wenvoe Open Gardens on 17 June was a great
\nsuccess. Twelve lovely people opened their gardens
\nfor visitors to enjoy and the weather, except for one
\nbrief shower of rain, was warm and sunny. It was a
\nfriendly, sociable event with lots of chat and making
\nof new friends. Refreshments were available, and
\nvery welcome, in the church grounds and the church
\nwas open to visitors. Heartfelt thanks go to
\neveryone who supported the event by opening their
\ngardens, to those who bought tickets, donated money
\nand\/or cake and to the volunteers who manned the
\nrefreshments in the
\nchurch. The total
\nraised for St
\nMary\u2019s church
\nBuilding Fund was
\n\u00a31,000, a
\nwonderful amount
\nand one to be
\nproud of. Thank
\nyou all again<\/p>\n
