Twelve lovely people opened their gardens<br \/>\nfor visitors to enjoy and the weather, except for one<br \/>\nbrief shower of rain, was warm and sunny. It was a<br \/>\nfriendly, sociable event with lots of chat and making<br \/>\nof new friends. Refreshments were available, and<br \/>\nvery welcome, in the church grounds and the church<br \/>\nwas open to visitors. Heartfelt thanks go to<br \/>\neveryone who supported the event by opening their<br \/>\ngardens, to those who bought tickets, donated money<br \/>\nand\/or cake and to the volunteers who manned the<br \/>\nrefreshments in the<br \/>\nchurch. The total<br \/>\nraised for St<br \/>\nMary\u2019s church<br \/>\nBuilding Fund was<br \/>\n\u00a31,000, a<br \/>\nwonderful amount<br \/>\nand one to be<br \/>\nproud of.
