It was so cold the river Ely was frozen on the surface but with glorious sunshine all the way it was refreshing and felt warm. Coffee and snacks in the Bay, were much appreciated before we went back across the barrage to Penarth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\"><em>Happy New Year everyone.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wenvoe.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/walkersz.jpg?w=860\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/>T<strong>hurs January 19th, <\/strong>a walk from Penarth taking in a few cliff climbs to help get rid of those extra calories, but there will be time for a coffee.
